GrowMidwives is recruiting qualified candidates to fill the position of Director of Midwifery, Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston, MA. 

In this position, you will be responsible for 50% administrative oversight of the nurse midwifery service for the Department of OBGYN and 50% clinical work, providing care to a diverse population with births at either the newly refurbished freestanding birth center or inpatient hospital. You will have the chance to work alongside a historic, collaborative team in a teaching hospital that includes OBGYN, Family Medicine, and Certified Nurse-Midwives. 

Required skills: 

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, MA RN, & CNM License 
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • Minimum 2 years previous administrative experience including program development and monitoring, fiscal performances, and staff supervision
  • Birth center midwifery practice preferred
