Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), an award-winning public healthcare system, is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine physician to join our well established Pulm/CC Division. CHA provides innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics, two full service hospitals and our Sleep Center located at CHA Somerville Hospital. CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS).

  • Full time position joining our established Pulmonary Critical Care team of 8 providers
  • Inpatient responsibilities at CHA Cambridge and CHA Everett Hospitals, additional outpatient office at CHA Somerville Hospital
  • Opportunity to practice pulmonary and critical care (with sleep medicine if certified) 
  • Must be BE/BC in both pulmonary and critical care medicine 
  • Candidates should possess an interest in academics as this position will include resident and medical student teaching
  • Incoming physician should possess excellent clinical/communication skills and a strong commitment to serve our multicultural safety net patient population
  • The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
  • Faculty development opportunities for individuals wishing to pursue a clinical leader and medical educator roles

Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to serve our underserved, multicultural patient population. Qualified candidates must also be able to collaborate and successfully work in an acute, fast-paced, multidisciplinary team based environment. Previous employment in an academic safety net system is a plus.
