DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Outpatient Department of Psychiatry provides services to those individuals, couples, and families who can derive maximum benefit from outpatient care across the spectrum of programs offered within the department. The diversity of the client population served, in addition to the treatment modalities utilized, requires interdisciplinary expertise and collaboration.

Summary:
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of an assigned caseload of clients, providing a range of psychosocial care. Works at one or more service sites, under social work clinical supervision and administrative supervision at the service site or in the service line.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current MA licensure as an Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker(LICSW) 
  • Language: Bilingual in English/Portuguese required 
  • Work Experience: Minimum of clinical internship training or job experience in clinical human service work with population specific to service site.
